For over thirty years, our company has been a leading specialist in the manufacture and installation of steel windows and traditional leaded lights. Every product is handmade by our team of highly skilled and experienced craftspeople, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail. Due to our continued success and growing demand for our products, we are seeking a dedicated Workshop Person to join our busy production team based at our factory in Blockley.
Responsibilities
- Clean welds to a high standard using rotary tools and hand tools.
- Assist in the preparation and fabrication of steel windows in accordance with our traditional methods.
- Operate workshop machinery as required (training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the production team to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in using rotary and hand tools for cleaning welds.
- Welding experience is a distinct advantage, though not essential for the right applicant.
- Ideally, experience in operating workshop machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work methodically, keeping the workspace clean and organised.
- Basic English and Maths skills are essential for effective communication and understanding instructions.
- Strong awareness of health and safety, with the ability to observe and uphold high standards at all times.
Salary and Benefits
